Our container wax is Gold Brands 464 All Natural Soy Wax. It contains no paraffins for a benzene and toluene free burn that is healthy for both your home and the planet!

Our scent oils are sourced from Candle Science. We use exclusively Clean Scent Plus scent oils for a number of reasons, one being that these are the cleanest scent oils on the market! They are 100% free of known or suspected carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins. Using scent oils instead of essential oils is also kinder on the planet because it uses significantly less plant material to make.

Our glass jars are exclusively Mason Jars sourced from our local hardware store. Sourcing from our local community for the creation of local products reduces the carbon impact of shipping, where the "last mile" is the most significant in increasing emissions. Our jars are purchased and moved from the store to our studio on foot, thereby negating this last bit of carbon emissions! Choosing to buy local also keeps our money in our communities and supports our neighbors!

We chose to house our candles in mason jars due to their high quality and standardized production. Each jar is rated up to a particular temperature and are safe to can food in over and over again in very hot and pressurized conditions. Due to this we know the heat shock temperatures of the glass and how to safely refill them over and over!
